Checking the Pegs 003: Target (Hadley, MA)

     So the new toys for Batman vs Superman are in stores. I like the general design of Wonder Woman's costume in this movie but sadly all the figures I saw at Target looked pretty bad. (This is actually good in my case because I don't feel the crippling need to buy them.)

This is the Mattel 6" figure. I liked the body a lot but the face is a real deal breaker;
too wide and painted horribly.

The pricier "Multiverse" figure wasn't any better in the face department:

This giant figure actually looked pretty okay, but these things are so huge and barely articulated. I guess kids like them? (Side note: I did NOT pose the armored Batman like that but now seeing it in the photo it's pretty funny :D)

Checking the Pegs 002: Halloween Grab Bag

This is a gallery of assorted Halloween things I found and liked enough to take pictures of, but not to actually buy.

Checking the Pegs 001: Newbury Comics, Northampton

     I went to the Newbury Comics in Northampton, MA yesterday (4/22) and here is what caught my eye:

     This Ice King is pretty ok, but too big for me, and this Ricardio?
     Nope.

     This Boo would be a lot cooler if his mouth didn't look like a prolapsed anus. (Google that at your own risk.)

     But this Pusheen! So excellent. The best part is the little tag on her is a lenticular so you can make her do her .gif thing. I'll probably buy this sooner than later.

     Ok, that's all for now!
