*Transcript from Sigmund's Memo Orb*

Valerra and Sigmund are hunched over a table inside the Arca looking at a small clear sphere.
Valerra:
Alright, so now it's glowing.
Sigmund:
Yea, I just turned it on.
Valerra:
-and it records? It's recording now?
Sigmund:
Yes. Full spherical recording too, no need to aim-it's getting everything.
Valerra:
You said the Arca makes a record of everything we're doing anyway, so why this?
Sigmund:
I don't understand how to access all the information the Arca gathers. These little guys will give us more control over the story we leave behind.
Valerra:
She watches him fiddle with the orb some more.
Recording things is important to you.
She says it flatly; not a question, just something she is realizing.
Sigmund:
Well of course, what good is a story if no one remembers it?
He thoughtfully pauses.
Also, I don't actually know how we're going to pull this off. If it all ends in a terrible failure, I want someone to know we at least tried.
