(Tell me you've never seen such an artistic candy corn!)
Ok folks, I have some sweets to tell you about here on this first post about candy. (Bonus: it's Halloween night!) First up is Starburst Candy Corn. These are fairly new to the Halloween candy scene and I tried a small pack of them last year and loved them. The texture is soft and sort of waxy like a normal candy corn, but somehow the candymancers over at Wrigley manged to get these to taste exactly like their Starburst counterparts. The four classic flavors are here, and Strawberry is still the best one :)

This one is edited quite a bit; they're not this zombified looking in real life.
This is more or less what they really look like.
And next we have Now & Later Soft. I used to eat regular Now & Laters as a kid and they were definitely a sticky danger your teeth. These softer ones have the same flavor and smell as the originals, but they are a bit easier to chew. They're not as soft as you might think though, still being harder than a Starburst or Laffy Taffy. And they just wouldn't be Now & Laters if they didn't stick to their own wrappers:
