Meaning according to Arthur Edward Waite- Ravage, violence, force, vehemence, extraordinary efforts, fatality, that which is predestined but for this reason evil. Reverse: Evil fatality, weakness, pettiness, blindness.
Notes: My favorite thing about this card is how chill Adam and Eve are with being chained to the devil.
